My name is Marina. My last name is Nesmiyan. I am 12 years old. I live with my family in the Belgorod region, in the Borisov district. My home village is Gruzskoe. And I want to tell you about my apartment.

My apartment has three rooms, a kitchen and a bathroom.

Our living room is a very large and cozy room. The living room has two armchairs, a sofa, a coffee table, a TV and wardrobes.

My parents' bedroom is bright and beautiful. There is a double bed, a wardrobe and a table with a mirror. My mother is a doctor by profession, but she draws very well. I like my mother's paintings that hang on the walls.

I have my own room. She is bright and I love her very much. The bedroom has a soft bed, a desk, a lamp, a computer, and a large wardrobe. Next to the desk there is a sofa and a bookshelf where I keep books and notebooks. I sing well and love music, so I have a stereo system and a CD player.

The kitchen is very beautiful and comfortable. It is not very big, but comfortable. We have all modern amenities: gas, central heating, cold and hot water. The kitchen includes a refrigerator and microwave. Our family loves to gather around the table, drink tea and chat.

I really love my apartment. There are many proverbs about home: “My home is my fortress”, “It’s good when visiting, but at home it’s better.” I absolutely agree with these statements.

My Flat

We have a nice flat in a new block of flats. Our flat is on the fourth floor. It has all modern conveniences: central heating, gas, electricity, cold and hot water, a lift and a chute to carry rubbish down. There are three rooms, a kitchen, a bathroom and a hall in our flat. The living-room is the largest and most comfortable room in the flat. In the middle of the room we have a square-table with six chairs round it. To the right of the dinner-table there is a wall-unit which has several sections: a sideboard, a wardrobe and some shelves.

At the opposite wall there is a piano and stool before it. Between the two large windows there is a little table with a color TV set on it. Near the TV set there are two cozy armchairs. A small round table, a sofa-bed and a standard lamp are in the left-hand corner. This small table is for newspapers and magazines. My father is used to having a rest sitting on this divan-bed reading books, newspapers, magazines or watching TV.

The bedroom is smaller than the living-room and not so light as there is only one window in it. In this room there are two beds with a bedside-table between them. An alarm-clock and a small lamp with a pink lamp-shade are on the table. In the left-hand corner there is a dressing-table with a big mirror.. In this room we have a built-in wardrobe with coat-hangers to-hang clothes on. There is a thick carpet on the floor and plain light-brown curtains on the window.

The third room is my study. It is not large but very cozy. There isn't much furniture in it, only the most necessary. It has a writing-table and an armchair before it. In the right-hand corner there is a bookcase full of books, magazines and newspapers. A small table with a radio is standing in the left-hand corner. Near it there is a sofa with some cushions. In my opinion, the study is the best room in our flat.

But the warmest place in our flat is the kitchen, I think — the place where the whole family gathers every evening not only to have supper together, but also to speak and rest. I like the English proverb: "My home is my castle" because my flat is, indeed, my castle.

My apartment

We have a nice apartment in a new apartment building. Our apartment is on the fourth floor, it has all modern amenities: central heating, gas, electricity, cold and hot water, an elevator and a garbage chute. The apartment has three rooms, a kitchen, a bathroom, and a hallway. The living room is the largest and most comfortable room in the apartment. In the center of the room there is a square dining table and six chairs. To the right of the table there is a furniture wall. It consists of several sections: a sideboard, a cabinet, several shelves.

On the opposite side there is a piano with a chair. Between two large windows there is a small table with a color TV. There are two cozy armchairs near the TV. In the left corner there is a small round table, a sofa and a floor lamp. This small table is designed for newspapers and magazines. Dad is used to relaxing, sitting on the sofa, reading books, newspapers, magazines or watching TV.

The bedroom is smaller than the living room and not as bright because it only has one window. In this room there are two beds and a bedside table between them. On the nightstand there is an alarm clock and a small lamp with a pink lampshade. In the left corner there is a dressing table with a large mirror. This room has a built-in wardrobe with hangers for clothes. There is a thick carpet on the floor, and plain light brown curtains hang on the windows.

The third room is my office. It is small, but very cozy. There is little furniture in it, only the essentials. There is a desk with an armchair here. In the right corner there is a bookcase with books, magazines, newspapers. A small table with a radio is in the left corner. Near it there is a sofa with pillows. In my opinion, this office is the best room in our apartment.

But the warmest place in our apartment is the kitchen, the place where the whole family gathers every evening not only to have dinner together, but also to talk and relax. I like the English proverb: “My home is my castle,” because my apartment is truly my castle.

I live with my parents in a panel house. Our apartment is on the 4th floor. It has one room.

We have large windows at home, which makes the room bright. And when the sun comes in, it becomes very bright and pleasant.

Entering the apartment, we first find ourselves in a hallway with a corridor. There is a shelf for shoes and a wardrobe for clothes. There is a mat on the floor to prevent street dirt from getting inside. There are also doors leading to the bathroom and toilet. The toilet is small, but everything you need is there. In the bathroom there are blue tiles on the walls and a pattern with dolphins and drops. There is a rug on the floor to keep your feet warm and keep your wet feet from slipping. There is liquid and regular soap on the washbasin. There are various dental hygiene products and supplies on the shelf.

Our kitchen is square. There is a gas stove, microwave and washing machine. There is an oven in the stove, where mom sometimes cooks pies. We only heat food in the microwave and never cook. The small table just fits us as a family. And when a lot of guests come, we take out a folding table.

In the room we have a sofa and a bed. I sleep on the bed, and my parents are on the sofa. Next to the bed is a table where I do my homework. There is a lamp on it that I turn on when I do my homework.

There is light green wallpaper on the walls. They don't tire your eyes. On the ceiling is a beige chandelier that can accommodate three lamps. The room also has a wardrobe.

A cat lives with us, she loves to sleep on the sofa. We have a TV opposite the sofa. Parents usually watch the news on it after work. There is a laptop nearby. Through it we access the Internet.

I have a very comfortable apartment.

Essay about an apartment - description.

I live with my parents and sister in a one-room apartment. Our room is small. The walls are covered with wallpaper, light brown linoleum is laid on the floor. On one of the walls of the room there is a window with a window sill and a balcony door. There are pots of flowers on the windowsill.

The window faces west, so the sun's rays enter our room in the afternoon. In summer, in sunny weather, the balcony door is open. As a result, the air in our room becomes fresh and cool. With the onset of cold weather, doors and windows are closed. The front door is upholstered on the inside, making it warm and cozy in winter.

There are two tables in the room, on which my sister and I prepare for lessons. There are hard wooden chairs near the tables. Nearby are two beds and a sofa. A bookcase occupies a place in the corner, and there is a linen closet near the balcony door.

In the hallway there is a large rectangular mirror hanging on the wall, a clothes hanger and a bedside table. From the hallway you can enter the kitchen. There is a refrigerator, a table and a gas stove. There are cabinets with dishes and supplies hanging on the walls. There are stools near the table on which we sit during lunch or dinner.

Our apartment is cramped but cozy. In the evening we all get together in the room and watch TV.
