In 2007, the Metropolitan of Chelyabinsk and Zlatoust Job (Tyvonyuk) created a commission to investigate the circumstances of the emergence of this cult. The Statement of the Missionary Department of the Chelyabinsk diocese of the Russian Orthodox Church, published on October 19, 2007, states: “It can be stated with absolute conviction that the writings of V. A. Krasheninnikova and people of her circle, dedicated to the “lad Vyacheslav”, have nothing to do with Orthodoxy. The late Vyacheslav Krasheninnikov, in the understanding of the Russian Orthodox Church, was neither a prophet, nor a martyr, nor a saint. His judgments about religious truths can be taken seriously only in the context of the attitude towards them of adults and spiritually lost people - people who very often pursue selfish goals that are far from genuine religiosity. But we “must be especially attentive to what we hear, lest we fall away” (Heb. 2:1).”

On February 11, 2010, the Publishing Council of the Russian Orthodox Church banned the distribution of publications dedicated to Vyacheslav Krasheninnikov through the church book network. The canonization of Krasheninnikov as a saint was also denied.

It is difficult to judge whether Slavik Krasheninnikov was really an extraordinary child or whether a cult was deliberately made from his name, but it is possible that faith in a miracle really helps those who come to his grave.

He told me that he remembers himself before birth. That was a canvas road. Huge speed. Stop at a deep abyss (an abyss from which you cannot get out). I saw next to me a huge man in dark, similar to monastic clothes. At the very tip index finger hung a small burning lamp. The edge of the garment, accidentally bent slightly, revealed a dazzling light that was impossible to look at.

This man calmly stepped over the abyss and, stopping on the other side, looked at Slavik and said: “Jump!”

Slavik says: “I took a run, jumped and barely managed to stay on the opposite edge of the abyss. Then, already finding himself alone, he walked a little forward, turned aside onto some kind of solid dark road, as if into a tunnel, and ... ended up at your place.

He remembers how he was going here to us. How the Most Holy Trinity and his friends gave him a little strength from themselves, and he went here to us on the sinful earth to help our (human) salvation. “And when I go back to them,” Slavik said, “and show them my wounds, they will ask: “How did you survive all this?” - and they will thank me for something very much. When Slavik was dying, this same person appeared to Slavik in a vision. Slavik says that this man was sitting on a stool in some hall. Also on the tip of his finger hung, but already dying out, the icon lamp, which this man was looking at. Not far ahead stood a temple with a dilapidated belfry wall. The bells are ringing. The priest descends from the bell tower. The actions of the priest are somewhat wrong. The man asks Slavik: “What would you do in the place of this priest?” Slavik replied: "I would give my soul for the sake of correcting violations." This vision was a few days before Slavochka's death.

Slavik also said: “When you find out who I really am, you will first be frightened by the fact that they treated me so easily, and then you will be proud of me and many will greatly envy me.”

The main purpose of Slavik was the fight against evil spirits. He sometimes asked me not to disturb him, because he needed to rest and gain strength to fight the spirits of evil. Then he lay motionless for several hours, as if dead. I carefully watched him, checking if he was breathing or not. After that, he got up very tired, as after hard, long work, and asked for food. A lot of strange and incomprehensible things happened to me with him. He explained something, and sometimes said that it was impossible for me to know or it was not useful. (p.3-7)

Beginning of life

When we arrived home from the maternity hospital, a neighbor came to visit us. Looking at the baby, she said that she got the feeling that he was seeing right through her and that she was afraid of his "penetrating" look. And yes, I had the same feeling.

When Slavik was three months old, we went to see a neurologist for an appointment. Examination of the child by a neuropathologist was then mandatory. A female doctor, who ended up in the office instead of our neurologist, who was absent from the office for a short time, examined Slavik and said: “The child was born with a delicate nervous psyche and he should not be vaccinated.” And she made a note about this in her medical record. Later, when I wanted to get advice from her, I could not find her anywhere. It turned out that no one knows such a neuropathologist. She, like that maternity hospital "nurse", disappeared without a trace. Subsequently, the doctors were perplexed about the entry in the medical card, but they did not vaccinate - only one vaccination, against smallpox, was given to him in the maternity hospital ...

On our next vacation in the city of Taiga, Kemerovo Region, Slavik was baptized. Batiushka allowed him to choose a pectoral cross for himself. Slavik chose the largest cross - not a child's one ...

Some time passed before I realized that Slavik reads and knows my thoughts. If I was preoccupied with something, then Slavik, as if by chance, gave me an answer. For a long time I thought it was just a coincidence...

Slavik was just over five years old when we moved to a new duty station in the Urals. There was nowhere to live, and I went with my children to my mother in the Kemerovo region, and my husband stayed in a tent during the gathering of henchmen, in the forest, because there were no places in the hotel.

I was very worried about my husband. Slavik, seeing my condition, approached me and openly told me that they would give us a three-room apartment - he was “told” about this ...

I was stunned - not by the fact that they would give us an apartment, but by the fact that someone told him this. I asked: “Slavochka, how long have they been talking to you?” He replied that for as long as he could remember, the same voice had always spoken to him.

Soon they really gave us an apartment. I immediately took Slavik to the doctors. The doctors didn't find anything out of the ordinary.

I wanted to arrange Slavik in Kindergarten to go to work, but he constantly talked about God, and I left him at home, especially since when Slavik was five and a half years old, I learned from him that he loves God more than anyone, that he hears a female voice that everything tells him that this voice is alive, and our voices next to him are as if dead, that he sees the past, present and future. School years

When Slavik was seven years old, he went to school. He, apart from God, did not need anything, and he immediately began to tell the children about God at school.

Slavik's first teacher was Irina Abramovna, who lived in our building. And now Slavik, sitting at the lesson, quietly tells her that he sees a little girl in her stomach. She did not believe, but the doctors confirmed the pregnancy.

Rumors about him spread around the school. The curious began to question him, and he told them everything they asked him about. The conversations went around the town, and I was forced to turn to the church in Miass to the priest Fr. Vladimir Zemlyanov. Father Vladimir and Slavik talked about something at the icon of the Mother of God; I was not allowed to listen. The priest, like that hundred-year-old grandmother, told me that my son was a good person.

Soon local sorcerers stirred. At that time, my husband was transferred to a new place of service in the city of Shadrinsk, and my eldest son was taken to the army. Slavik said that we would not move to Shadrinsk, dad would return to Chebarkul.

And when Slava and I were left alone, he told me that he sees all the internal organs of people and knows what people think about, that he sees all diseases at the very beginning and, it turns out, at school he already helped some children. He said that he knew the thoughts of our president, the American president, and in general he knew the thoughts of all people: where, what kind of nuclear missiles cost and how much, that there were absolutely no secrets for him on earth. He was eight years old at the time. The rumor about Slavik spread very quickly.

One evening, a local warlock came to our apartment with her relative to intimidate us. She spoke in different voices, screamed, was very angry, sweaty. She screamed that Slavik was bad, but she was a saint, that her book had told her that. She screamed that Slavik was not from God, because she herself was from God and she did not want to fight with him, since he was a child! She was perplexed: “Why was the child given such power?” She said that there was nothing to be done, and she, the “poor woman,” would have to fight him, because Slavik turned out to be her enemy.

With great difficulty and only with the help of an Orthodox woman who came, we managed to see them out.

They also came from the Roerich society and culturally hinted that Slavik would no longer talk about God, to which I replied that there were already churches in almost every village, and they also talk about God there. They agreed with me, but they said that the whole point is that they really believe in your son, for real deeds! And they, like, also would not want to fight with the child!

Slavik began to be attacked by local psychic sorcerers. Slavik said that he sees how sometimes evil spirits, crowding at the window and intimidating him, say: “We will kill you anyway! You won't live anyway! Or stop doing good deeds and come to us (you will be a famous psychic, you will live well and you will have everything), or we will kill you!” Slavik said: “And how they, mommy, swear at me a lot! Mommy, how they swear!”…

Slavik actively worked for God and many people of our military town went to church, began to pray to God and led their children to be baptized.

When Slavik was alive, there was no large invasion of various kinds of psychics, and now the sect of “joy” is flourishing and brazenly operating in the town.

Slavik calmly reacted to the actions of psychic sorcerers. And once I asked him: “Slavik, do you have enemies?” To which he replied: “Yes, Mom! There are real enemies. These are Freemasons and followers of Messing. Then, after a while, one Catholic will become attached - in general, a good priest who decided that he was sinless. But he has one sin.

Once Slavik and I were in one of the churches for a service. After the service, Slavik approaches the priest and asks: “Father, what were you thinking about during the service?” The priest didn't answer the question. Then Slavik asks him again: “How and where to get food for your pigs?”

This God's gift to Slavik, apparently, was terrible not only for the sorcerers-sectarians and the Roerichs.

Once I asked Slavik: “What should I do with you, with your gift?” He replied that he needed a blessing in the monastery of Zagorsk (as Sergiev Posad was renamed after the revolution). To the question: "Why so far?" I got the answer: “There is more holiness there” ...

At that time, it was very difficult to get plane or train tickets. The station workers did not even react to my persuasion, then Slavik asked for my permission to apply for a ticket himself. Surprised, I gave him permission. Soon their employee comes up to me and asks about Slavik. It turned out that Slavik had already diagnosed all the workers who were there. They were very surprised that there were such people. We got two tickets.

The road was surprisingly open everywhere. Even in Sergiev Posad itself, which was unbelievable at that time, there was a place in a hotel.

Early in the morning we went to the Lavra. I saw a large crowd of people and was confused. The meeting with the archimandrite seemed impossible, even the arriving monks did not hope to be accepted. I was told that his name was Father Naum, but I was already thinking about the fact that we had come in vain and how we should go back.

When, passing by us, oh. Naum caught up with Slavik, then Slavik told him: "But I have gifts from God." To which he replied: “Now we will deal with your gifts!” I didn't believe my ears!

Will he accept?

After a while, a nun came up to us, saying that she was a doctor and Fr. Nahum talk to the lad. I was not allowed to listen. Then she took Slavik to Fr. Naum.

Due to the long absence of my son, I began to worry, but then I was invited. I had to talk in detail about my life and my sins.

I was not prepared for this turn of events. If before meeting with the priest I considered myself very good, then after meeting with him I knew that this was far from being the case.

The way back was just as easy. Immediately there were tickets for the lower seats in the car. Upon arrival in Miass, we immediately transferred from the train to an electric train and safely arrived home. (31-34)

Work for God and people

The husband left again for Shadrinsk, and a real pilgrimage of the afflicted began to Slavik. Slavik was very tired, and I felt very sorry for him, but he begged me to be patient, asked: “Mommy, let them go.” And people were walking even at night. Out of stupidity and my ignorance, I grumbled in my thoughts, and sometimes, unable to stand it, asked Slavik: “When will this all end?”

She washed, cleaned, made sure that Slavik could rest. Starting from the age of seven and a half, Slava was already serving God and people, and I was their servant. People turned to him with their problems both at school and on the street, but the enemy of the human race did not doze off ...

You can’t tell everything, although I would like to tell one incident that prompted us to fulfill Slavochkin’s request for another trip to Father Naum.

Once, at the height of summer, as soon as it rained, the boys went out into the street and sat down near the entrance on the benches to listen to Slavik. A rainbow appeared in the sky after the rain, and then the boys saw a bright glow from the shoulders and around the head of Slavik, which lasted for about 40 minutes and through which they threw pebbles, and then at home they told their parents about it. As Slava said, her husband returned to serve again in Chebarkul. The eldest son came from the army. Slavik asked again for a trip to Father Naum for a blessing.

This time we went with our dad. Father Naum seemed to be waiting for us. There was no one: no monks, no pilgrims. Shod in felt boots, Father Naum sat on a stool under a canopy. Slavik immediately approached him and knelt before him. My husband and I stood aside, because I knew that when a priest was talking to someone, it was impossible to approach. They talked and approached us. Father Naum suggested that we move to live in Sergiev Posad, he promised to provide us with all possible assistance.

After talking with Father Naum for some time, we set off on our way back. I want to note that our path was miraculously guided by the Lord.

On the way back on the train, my husband and I discussed the question of how he could leave the army in order to move to live near the Lavra for the sake of his son. At that time, it was very difficult to leave the army.

When my father got out of the compartment, Slavochka told me: “Mommy, don't think about anything. You won't move." I asked in bewilderment: “Why, Slavochka? For your sake, we are ready to do anything, even quit military service and live near the monastery walls.” Slavik answered me: “This autumn, when I go to school, somewhere around the 20th of September, I will feel bad. I will get sick and die…”

He said this in July, and in March he was gone. During this period, Slavik continued to go to school with several short breaks, when he had to stay in the hospital for several days. He only did not attend school for the last two weeks before his death.

That's all Slavochka's life ... He did not have five days to 11 years.

Slavik said: “God shortened my age because people betray God very quickly, and therefore I will not have time to grow up, otherwise I would have been a doctor first, and then a monk. And he also said that some people will get very angry at his prophecies when they start to come true and call him an evil sorcerer. (38-41)

…Slavik loved everything and everyone. He received and provided assistance to both Muslims and Catholics, and indeed to everyone who came. He also helped animals and birds. Without a reason, he did not pluck either a flower or a leaf. I tried not to walk on the grass, so as not to crush it ...

Once there was a curious incident. The weather was fine, and we went out for a walk. There were many people on the street. In the "cooking" we bought buns with Slavochka, and when we went out, pigeons suddenly flew in from somewhere, sat down, surrounding him in a tight circle so that he could not take a step. People stopped in surprise and, smiling, looked at this “lap of honor”. Slavik stood confused. I had to ask the pigeons to leave him alone. They parted, but for some time they accompanied him, stomping after him. Although I had the buns, the pigeons did not pay attention to them ...

When he was brought for the first time to the hospital in Chebarkul, one of the titmouse flew into the hospital building after him. Having flown to the second floor, she did not know where to go. Slavik at that time went into the doctor's office. While he was at the doctor, the orderlies tried to open the window to let out the titmouse, but it hit the glass so hard that it fell on the windowsill. Everyone thought with regret that she had died. But then Slavochka came out, went up to the window sill, took her in his hands, held her a little and released her. My husband was so struck by this that he cannot forget this incident and always gets very upset when he remembers it.

The top commanders, who had heard about Slavik, asked my husband to meet with Slavik. Sometimes my husband took Slavik with him to the firing range, where Slavik talked to our military. He loved our army and was sad that instead of the army, rapid reaction brigades will be created. He called them just that: “rapid response teams”, which, before the arrival of the world ruler, will “extinguish” any, even the slightest manifestation of human discontent, with their quick appearance.

There will be a lot of listening devices. Even on the street, people will be afraid to talk. Times will be worse than under Stalin.

Slavik said that a nuclear war is nothing compared to an impending catastrophe, that there are a lot of demons (so-called aliens) on the Moon. Lately, I’ve been praying all day long and for every little thing I thanked everyone and bowed to everyone, especially for some reason to me ...

Slavik said that dogs should not be kept in the house, that dogs should live in yard. You can not collect masks, skulls, fantasy books, etc., because evil spirits settle in them. And vice versa, evil spirits cannot stand the faces of the Saints. They also do not like burning candles, the smell of incense, and especially Sunday prayer, from which they begin to rush about and disappear.

Slavik said that the temples would be empty and they would informally be allowed to open small workshops (mainly carpentry). When there is a famine, a severe famine, women from hunger will take their treasures, including ancient icons, to consignment shops Chelyabinsk - there will be more expensive to evaluate. They will create shops that will sell only icons, and hungry sellers will work in these icon shops with fear, because the Lord will burn these shops with fire.

Slavik said that water from the surface of the earth will begin to leave, and trees and all vegetation will die.Only by the grace of God those who are not sealed with the seal of antichrist will have the opportunity to grow something from vegetables in the garden.

Slavik advised the mother of one boy not to strain his son with studying the piano, explaining that it would not be useful for him, that people would not care about music (this boy is now over 20 years old). Neither musicians, nor artists, nor athletes will be needed. Those forgotten ancient knowledge will be needed, by which a person could determine where to dig to find water, and how to survive.

The water will leave, and the rest will deteriorate.

It is impossible to fly into space, because from space, when a rocket flies to the ground, it carries invisible crystals that are trapped in one of the layers of the atmosphere, and they have the ability to divide. Under certain conditions created by man, they will eventually fall to the ground and everything that falls under them will be crushed. If he, a little one, according to the entry in the medical record, was not vaccinated, then when we were in the hospital in Chelyabinsk, he himself did not allow him to infuse someone else's blood. But when the doctor insisted on this and they tried to infuse him with blood, they could not do it. The blood itself did not come and they were forced to remove the drip. Slavik said that with someone else's blood, someone else's sins enter into a person, but the blood still will not take root, because. she is dead.

Slavik wore his large baptismal cross, and in the children's department of hematology in Chelyabinsk, head. department was a psychic. She swore: “I hung a cross on my belly! Take him away!" She tried to take a puncture of Slavik's bone marrow in the chest area, and also failed to do so. An invisible force knocked the needle out of her hands. They took the puncture, but others.

One day Slavika was invited to her office by a doctor (I don't remember which department she headed) and asked to be diagnosed. It cost Slavik nothing. He granted her request within minutes. To her question: “Can you help me with something?” Slavik answered her in front of me: “You have been treating people all your life. Have you cured anyone?" She replied that she did not know - she probably cured someone after all. Slavik said: “Why can't you heal your legs? You've had the best medicines all your life. You kept the best for yourself, gave the rest to your friends, so why didn’t you all get cured? Lowering her head, she quietly replied: “Here, I haven’t recovered.”

Slavik said that he was here to help dying children, and if he had enough strength, he would help her too. She never came to Slavochka again.

When we were transferred to the surgical department, he told me: “Mommy, I will die, and they will sing and dance.” I didn't answer. I couldn't even imagine what that meant.

The two days spent in the ward were quiet. Behind the wall we had the so-called intern's room, and almost opposite, in the corridor, there was a large TV, where sick children from the department watched television programs in the evenings.

On the eve of March 8, a party began in this staff room behind the wall. Slavik at that time was very ill after laparoscopy. The party gradually intensified, and the children gradually increased the sound of the TV. The whole department is already shaking, the TV is yelling at full power, the children, imitating the roaming medical workers, are jumping and dancing near the TV ... I looked out into the corridor, and my hair began to stir from horror on my head. This is not allusive. Hair from horror really move. And Slavik lies quietly so as not to upset me: he seems to be sleeping.

While we were in the hospital, Stefania arrived in Chelyabinsk, Juna flew in, and Longa and Kashpirovsky arrived. After many of the medical staff visited these sorcerers, one of the doctors told me that patients with serious illnesses have a vision of the future, and that Slavik has such abilities from illness. Such is Slavikov's gift of clairvoyance was diagnosed, but there was no diagnosis of his illness.

When they left, another doctor came up and said to me: “Don't listen to them! I have been working here for 30 years. I saw all sorts of cancer kids, but not a single one of them was a seer. This is the first time I've ever seen such a person! Thank God that I saw such a thing in my life!”

I want to note that in the Urals, especially in the hematology hospital, there is just a working conveyor of children dying of leukemia. And so, being in the same condition as all sick children (only, unlike others, he was not treated), Slavik tried to help the parents of sick children with his advice. He suggested what prayers to read, what grass to brew in order to alleviate the suffering of dying children.

One 15-year-old boy said that if he did not die, he would go to study at the seminary and become a priest, because he was amazed that Slavik knew everything about him and saw all his illnesses, and that there was hope for a good outcome (this boy, Fortunately, the disease was not fatal).

It is no coincidence that the devil forced his servants to actively act: stephanies, juns, longs, kashpirovskys and other followers of Messing.

Before Slavik's death, he was unctioned by Fr. Vladislav Kataev from the Chebarkul Church. He brought with him two bottles of holy water. After the unction, he invited Slavik to drink some water that was in one of the bottles. Slavik objected to Father Vladislav's proposal, saying that we have a lot of water like in this bottle from the tap, and asked for water from the second bottle, saying that that water is "holier". Surprised about. Vladislav asked the question: “How do you know?” - and confessed that the water in the first bottle was diluted.

From March 14 to March 15, at about midnight, my husband and I, who had been on duty at Slava's bed all the time, immediately fell into a sound sleep. When we woke up from sleep, they also immediately and instantly, looked at each other with horror: did we oversleep our son ?! The husband looked at him, and Slavik, smiling, congratulated him on his birthday and said:

"Daddy, sleep, you must be tired after talking to me all night." The astonished husband told him that we slept all night. And the surprised Slavik asked: “And who held my hand all night and talked to me, reassured me and said: “Don’t be afraid, Slavochka, everything will be fine”? He said that nothing hurt him all night ...

Slavik was buried by the entire military town. A well-organized funeral was everyone's last gift to our son. The school was closed and all the children were part of the funeral.

In the post-perestroika period, the religious cult of the ten-year-old youth Vyacheslav Krasheninnikov, who died in March 1993 and was declared a saint, became widespread among the inhabitants of the Kemerovo region. Not every prophet should be trusted

I would like to start an article devoted to the excitement raised around the name of the allegedly holy youth Vyacheslav and the “miracles” attributed to him by admirers with a statement made by the leadership of the Missionary Department of the Tomsk Diocese of the Russian Orthodox Church. It bitterly states that the spread of this cult testifies to the extreme religious illiteracy of the population, craving spectacular and accessible miracles, as well as its disobedience to the hierarchy, the reason for which lies in the low level of internal church discipline.

In support of what has been said, there are lines from the first chapter of the Gospel of John, where Jesus Christ warns His followers that not every spirit should be believed, since there are many false prophets in the world. In addition, everyone's attention is drawn to a number of facts that cast doubt on the sincerity of the most ardent adherents of the newly-appeared "saint". What reliable information has been preserved about the life of Vyacheslav Krasheninnikov - the “holy youth”, elevated after his untimely death to the rank of God's chosen ones?

Child from an officer's family

It is known that he was born on March 22, 1982 in the city of Yurga, Kemerovo region. The father of the child, Sergei Vyacheslavovich, was a military man, as a result of which the family repeatedly moved from place to place, and his mother, Valentina Afanasyevna, was a housewife. When Vyacheslav was a little over five years old, the family settled in the city of Taiga, Kemerovo Region, where its head was once again transferred. However most his short life the lad Vyacheslav had a chance to spend in another Siberian city - Chebarkul, located on the territory of the Chelyabinsk region.

Vyacheslav's mother was constantly at home, and he did not have to be sent to kindergarten, so everything that was laid into him at an early stage of life is the fruit of her upbringing. The influence of the father hardly had a strong effect on the formation inner world teenager, because he was constantly on long business trips, and his older brother was drafted into the army. As a result, mother and son were often left virtually alone.

Testimony of teachers contradicting mother's statement

Having reached the age of seven, the boy entered the Chebarkul secondary school No. 4, where he studied until his death. According to the director of the school L. Menshchikova, as well as class teacher I. Ignatieva, for all his positive qualities, Vyacheslav looked a little like the holy lad. He was a simple child, kind and warm-hearted by nature, but there was nothing sacred in his appearance, words, or demeanor.

At the same time, it is known that the mother of the child, Valentina Afanasyevna, in her memoirs, claimed that from the very birth the features of being chosen were clearly visible in him, and when he reached a conscious age, he openly told her that he was sent by God. Subsequently, it was with her active participation in the Chelyabinsk region that the cult of the holy youth Vyacheslav Chebarkulsky was born and became widespread, which became the object of sharp criticism from official representatives of the Russian Orthodox Church. Let's just focus on some of the statements.

In particular, Maxim Stepanenko, head of the Missionary Department of the Tomsk diocese, wrote that in this case, attention is drawn to the fact that the veneration of the holy youth Vyacheslav was initiated not by members of the church community, who knew nothing not only about his uniqueness, but even about the degree of religiosity but exclusively by the mother. It is quite possible that, driven by exalted love for her son, she became a victim of her own pride and spiritual charm. Under this term, Orthodox dogma means a state of daydreaming and self-deception, which gives rise to a false sense of holiness.

The beginning of self-initiated glorification

Vyacheslav Krasheninnikov died of leukemia on March 17, 1993 and was buried in the city cemetery. The impetus for his veneration as a saint was a book written by G.P. Bystrov and published in 2001 under the title “Ah, mother, mother ...”. According to the author, it was written from the words of the mother of the deceased boy, Valentina Afanasievna, and contains her stories about the life of her son and those qualities that proved his exclusivity.

A start was made, and after the first edition, dedicated to the "holy" youth Vyacheslav, four more books were published, two of which were written by Valentina Afanasyevna herself. Their names: "Sent by God" and "Miracles and predictions of the youth Slavik" speak for themselves. Two more books came out from the pen of Lydia Emelyanova.

Advertising campaign carried out at a high level

The authors of all these works, addressing the readers, pursued a common goal - on the basis of the facts known to them alone, to prove that the boy had the gift of miracles and clairvoyance sent down to him from above. In addition, they also provide evidence of his posthumous appearances. Despite the complete lack of evidence of the statements cited in them, the books were written professionally, and everything stated in them looked colorful and very convincing.

It was not long in coming, and despite the limited circle of people showing interest in this kind of literature, it turned out to be very wide. In 2010, fuel was added to the fire by a multi-part documentary filmed by director S. Bogdanov and distributed on DVD with the characteristic title “Russian Angel. Otrok Vyacheslav. The picture was met with interest, its copies sold in large numbers, thus ensuring the commercial success of the cause. On the next year discs appeared with a new film about the holy youth Vyacheslav Chebarkulsky - this is how he was now called in the circle of admirers.

Church pastor's testimonial

As mentioned above, most of the official representatives of the Russian Orthodox Church reacted very negatively to the newly-minted "saint". Among them is the rector of the Chebarkul Church of the Transfiguration of the Lord, Archpriest Father Dimitry (Egorov). In his interview, he stated that the admirers of the deceased boy were mainly people greedy for miracles. It was they who unconditionally believed everything that Valentina Krasheninnikova and authors like her told in their books.

The excitement that arose in connection with this, according to him, took on the character of general insanity, the peak of which fell on 2007. At the same time, books about the holy youth Vyacheslav were actively sold, and, undoubtedly, brought significant profits to publishers. Father Demetrius even remembered that he happened to see one of them in Jerusalem, where he made a pilgrimage trip at that time.

A business built on the death of a teenager

He further suggested that the true culprits of all the hype are the people who used Krasheninnikova to achieve their own selfish goals. It was for this that they published books and made films, which are nothing more than competently and professionally organized advertising. As a result, a mass pilgrimage began to the grave of the deceased teenager. People who yearn to feel for themselves the full power of the miracles of the holy lad Vyacheslav come in whole buses and do not skimp on any expenses. Guests from abroad also became frequent visitors to the Chebarkul cemetery.

In recent years, the very place of burial of a teenager has changed. A canopy was erected over the grave, under the canopy of which icons painted in his honor are placed. Note that, according to church tradition, this is completely unacceptable. One should worship only the images of the canonized saints of God. The actions of those who offer prayers and read an akathist to the youth Vyacheslav - a “saint”, not glorified by the Russian Orthodox Church, are sacrilege and are subject to the most severe condemnation.

Cottage on marble chips

In addition, the rector of the temple notes such a thought-provoking fact. The fact is that adherents of the veneration of the boy stubbornly support the rumor that on his grave, where miracles of healing take place, everything is filled with grace - snow, earth, dew, but most importantly, marble chips covering the tombstone. It is poured with water, which is then drunk, getting rid of all ailments.

These small pebbles are successfully sold to everyone, and their stocks are regularly replenished by the father of the deceased, Sergei Vyacheslavovich, who for this purpose goes to a quarry located near the village of Kaelga. Whether the marble chips help the suffering is unknown, but, according to Archpriest Dimitri (Egorov), it brought a lot of benefits to Krosheninnikovs themselves. They say they bought a piece of land and started building their own cottage.

Dissenting opinion of one of the clergy

For the sake of objectivity, we note that among the ministers of the church there are people who believe in God's chosen lad Slavik. Among them is, for example, the priest of the Church of Saints Joachim and Anna from the village of Nosovskoye, Archpriest Father Peter (Borodulin). In his video interview, recorded in 2009, he stated that he was deeply convinced of the true holiness of Vyacheslav. However, he did not give any serious arguments, except for the assurances of the mother that her son did not know sin and himself told her that he was sent by God. Meanwhile, a church minister should know that according to the Gospel, only Jesus Christ is sinless, and nothing is said about teenagers from the Russian outback.

"Prophecies" Based on Hollywood Movies

Now let us dwell in more detail on how the official church authorities and, in particular, the leaders of the Chelyabinsk diocese, reacted to the appearance on the territory under their jurisdiction of the cult of the deceased boy. They were prompted to take action not only by a mass pilgrimage to his grave, but also by statements that gained great popularity among the people, passed off as prophecies of the holy child Vyacheslav.

Metropolitan of Zlatoust and Chelyabinsk Job (Tyvonyuk) created a commission, which in 2007 began to detailed study all circumstances of the case. As a result of the work carried out, its members categorically rejected the possibility of canonizing Vyacheslav Krosheninnikov. In their conclusion, they especially drew attention to the fact that many of the prophecies attributed to him are inherently at odds with the teachings of the Orthodox Church. Moreover, upon careful reading, it is easy to see that they are sometimes nothing more than a free retelling of American science fiction films, which, apparently, the teenager was once fond of.

It stated with all responsibility that the writings of Vyacheslav Krasheninnikova's mother, Valentina Afanasyevna, films about the life and prophecies of the holy child Vyacheslav, as well as other similar materials, have nothing to do with Orthodoxy.

Shortly after the publication of this document, the head of the diocese addressed a letter to all members of the episcopate of the Russian Orthodox Church with an appeal to point out to the clergy and laity the inadmissibility of worshiping the newly-appeared false saint. Under his editorship in those days, a pamphlet with a very characteristic title came out of print: "Avoid Indian fables." It contained a comprehensive and deeply reasoned criticism of the distributor of the cult.

Criticism voiced within the walls of the Holy Synod

In unison with the words of the Chelyabinsk bishop, the statement of Metropolitan Yuvinaliy (Poyarkov), the chairman of the Synodal Commission, which dealt with issues related to the canonization of saints, was also heard. He especially emphasized the harm that semi-pagan rituals performed at the grave of Vyacheslav, as well as non-canonical akathists and icons dedicated to him, can cause to the souls of people.

Glorification in the guise of saints is performed only on the basis of perfect miracles, the authenticity of which is established by members of the special commission of the Holy Synod, which was involved in the work this time as well. Its chairman, P.V. Florensky, having studied the material, came to the conclusion that Vyacheslav’s holiness was out of the question, and his mother was trying to profit materially from the death of her own son. He stated all this in his official statement.

And finally, the Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia, Alexy II, who ruled in those years, put an end to this issue. Given the seriousness of the situation, he considered it necessary to personally appeal to all who live according to the Orthodox faith. Expressing deep compassion for the grief of the inconsolable mother, the primate of the Russian Orthodox Church noted the inadmissibility of her actions aimed at drawing everyone's attention to her dead son in order to create his false cult. According to the patriarch, the deceased child does not need frivolous and inherently sinful worship, but sincere and heartfelt prayer for the repose of his soul.
